Do you need a European Union flag registration that is valid around the world and is available to all nationalities – we can provide you with a Polish (EU) flag registration. This registration is valid for the lifetime of the boat and therefore you will not need to renew your paperwork. The whole process is very simple, as you do not need a yacht survey and the provisional documents can be supplied in as little as 1 or 2 days and the final registration should not take more than 4 weeks, if you supply us with the correct documents. It is important to know that from the minute you receive your provisional registration, you can start using your vessel as it is a legal document.

You can register in Poland under your own name or as corporate owner
You have the choice of owning your boat under personal name or under a company name. The main reason people choose to register under corporate name is to avoid liability, privacy or if there are multiple owners. Any nationality can own a yacht under the Polish flag under their personal name. It is not required that the owner of the yacht resides in Poland or even in the EU / EEA. The place of residence of the owner is not relevant at all.

Company setup: If you prefer to register your boat under a corporate name and do not have a company yet, we can set this up for you in 24 hours. We setup a UK LTD or a US LLC for you for a small fee of €349 or €399. Just select this option on our order form if needed.

Can I register in Poland as NON – EU citizen?
Yes you can, you do not have to be a resident or citizen of Poland or even the EU / EEA to register under Polish flag. Due to a recent change, anybody can register a boat under the Polish flag and hold the boat under their personal name.

How long does it take to register?
You can choose how long the registration can take. We offer 2 options for registration; With our fast option you get the provisional registration in 3 to 7 days or if you are in a hurry, we can have it done in 1 to 2 days only. We will send the provisional to you by email and the permanent registration document takes up to 3-4 weeks from the day that we receive all documents from you. We send the permanent registration to you by DHL and this is included in our rates. Important: When you receive the provisional registration you will be able to use your boat already legally.

Can I register as Commercial or Bareboat charter in Poland?
Yes, you can register for private, commercial or bareboat vessel use. The cost to register your boat are same for all three.

Do I need an MMSI radio license
It is mandatory in most countries to have a valid MMSI / radio license on your boat so we recommend our boat owners to apply for a MMSI / Radio license when applying for the Polish flag registration. The license permits the following equipment: VHF Radio, radar, epirb, transponder & radar and assigns the numbers needed to operate correctly. We can arrange a Polish MMSI license for our clients at a cost of €149 in combination with the Polish flag registration or €199 if you order it alone. See details here.
